What is Lance?
A Telegram trading bot that a community runs under its own name, plus Lance Trade, a trading screen in the browser. Lance runs the technology, and trades execute on Hyperliquid. Lance is built by Lancers Technology.Is Lance live on mainnet?
Not yet. Lance runs on Hyperliquid testnet for now, so trades use test funds with no real value. Your bot and Lance Trade say “testnet” where it matters. These docs will say when that changes.Who runs my community’s bot?
Your community owner chose the bot’s name, welcome message and markets, and can set limits such as the highest leverage. Lance runs the bot and the technology behind it.Does Lance hold my money?
No. Your funds stay in your own Hyperliquid account. Lance can place the trades you ask for, but it can never withdraw or send your funds to another wallet. See How access works.What do I pay?
Hyperliquid’s trading fee plus Lance’s bot fee of 0.05% per trade (illustrative; final fees are confirmed before launch). The bot fee is shown before every trade. See Fees.Does Lance tell me what to trade?

Tap Remove access in 🔐 Wallet and access. The bot can no longer trade for you, and every Lance Trade browser is signed out. You can also revoke the key on Hyperliquid itself. See Remove access.Someone asked for my seed phrase. What do I do?
Don’t share it. Nobody from Lance or your community’s bot will ever ask for your seed phrase or private key, and Lance never asks you to sign anything on any other website.
